dd1 has real problems ordering events, she is 9 in 2 weeks and 4 days. Last week she asked when her birthday was, I said 3 weeks and 1 day, cool all good, the next day she says yay its only 4 weeks till my birthday, I corrected her that it was in fact 3 weeks. a couple of days later she says it is only 2 weeks till my birthday, today she has said it is 4 weeks till my birthday. one example
another example she is singing a song about how it was not very hot in summer but now it is spring and the weather is hot. I corrected her, its autumn darling, she says oh yes so it is, corrects her song and on we go.
She is being assesed for dsylexia and dsypraxia, could this be part of that or is it just that she has a poor memory, the birthday thing struck me because it is obviously something whhich is very important to her and she is trying to count down to it.

This is part of her dyslexia.
