Hello! I've not long joined MumsNet and thought I would pop in and introduce myself.

I'm a married, mum of two (4 and 7) and work full time. My daughter has Down Syndrome, and starts school tomorrow! she is going to the same mainstream school as my son and I am full of mixed emotion about it all, not to mention that her Statement is not right and I am hoping a fight isn't in order to put it right!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi Mummoselle, welcome & I hope your daughter Loves her first day at school...t ake the tissues :) (for you, not her)

Thank you!
She is doing great at school, going in happy and coming out happy. She's on half days for the first two weeks then full time. I had a wee tear in my eye on her first day but no real tears and definitely none from her as she is a confident little thing!
