Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Advice needed please, I think the time has come to reapply for DLA.

I have been stuck in bed almost all week and the doc thinks that, rather than "just" teitzes, I have fibromyalgia as well. I cant fill a kettle, I struggle with cutting food and opening jars/bottles. I am also unable to walk further than a mile. bearing in mind that 6m ago I walked the 10 miles to wales and back.

dh is at home with me, but not getting any financial help. I receive incapacity benefit at higher rate, with disability element. is there anything I should know?

Go to the welfare support officer at your local council.
They will word the form for you, as it's a nightmare.
I got my DLA no problem, but because I had her help filling it in.
Good luck :)

Thank you. I was turned down before, but things have deteriorated since, and I couldn't cope without dh. Today he has helped me to the toilet and back.
