Hello! ds3 has croup so I'm up (crisis over - trying to settle him). How are you? Spotted you on here.

oh no - croup is a bugger... I am well.

You know dd1 never had croup until we moved to Aus and then four major bouts last year - each time having to take her to hospital - dragging the whole family out in the middle of the night... two over night stays the rest home eventually. We now have something called redipred if we can see that she is going to have a bout.... steam etc all those home remedies never worked for us.

How are you other than that?

i woondered when I saw you in relationships what you were doing up so late!!

I thought we were going to have to go to hospital tonight- rang NHS direct as he'd been coughing and struggling for 1/2 an hour and was completely freaking when I tried to give him a drink. I steamed up the kitchen whilst waiting for NHS direct to ring back- worked immediately! Dh got his date of birth wrong (day and year!) with NHS direct!

Otherwise all well here. How's the Aussie summer?

we had a week of rain - two weeks ago - good as that was dd1's post surgery week. Weather is milder although still in the 30's nad sunny. Sitting here in my shorts and singlet top... dds in nappies and t-shirts.

Dh is great with days and months - bit hazy on years - what is he going to be like when they are older than 3 and 1 Smile

I can't believe your ds3 is walking around - dd2 is too lazy - she can stand unaided and cruises everywhere but refuses to walk little monkey.

I can't believe ds3 is walking (running, jumping and kicking balls as well!!) My other 2 weren't at his age- it's a nightmare. He clims on the coffee table and tries to walk (not crawl) up and down stairs.

I'm not good in the heat- but might swop it today- it's been freezing here.

I think ds3 is ready to go back in his cot- so may head up with him- night on the sofa cushions on the floor next to him for me.

I saw your dd's photos the other day (feeding ds3 so couldn't type). Gorgeous, and very cute. Was impressed with the tea party- that's fab!

Have a good rest of the day! xxx

off to bed with him... dd2 is a climber too.... worrying..

dd1 was doing her commando crawl at this age... although she has only been walking 7 months or so and she is running - very good little footballer - much to dh's pleasure and very good either foot, accurate too.... mmm think he is going to sign them up for women's football!!
