I can recommend After Thomas............... It is simply brilliant!!!!

Whilst I know these are probably very good films I just can't bring myself to watch anything about autism. I don't read any fiction about it either. Even though my dc are 11 and 7 and have been diagnosed some time I think I am still incredibly wobbly about ASD and whilst I'm great on a practical level I just can't be emotionally ok abut it. I know this makes me a bit weird!

Thanks for the links nappy. Our autism group is working with the local indie cinema to put on a short series of films, discussions, etc about autism next year, so those links are very useful.

I went to see the curious incident at the Cottesloe theatre it was amazing

I was on the verge of tears all the way through After Thomas because I could have sworn it was my son!!

In a good way though cos some of the things he does that I've never seen other children do, Kyle did in the film and that made me feel better.

I remember seeing after thomas on TV - wonderful film.
