What is the current plan for carers allowance? Does anyone know?

Just trying to get my head round the changed that are due next year.

From what I have read, its been proposed that people who care for someone on MRC/LRC will lose their CA. Is that true?

Sounds about right.

Coalition govt are shameful. What was it Dave promised us? Thos who are genuinely in need will not lose the help they are currently given.

My son has lost his autism outreach worker, his Blue Badge and his social group.

Thanks very much, Mr Cameron.

Eliza that's disgusting Shock And people thought our Dave would have more sympathy because he had a disabled child.

Understanding "Dave" claimed DLA for his son though didn't he? His family is so rich it was just a nice to have rather than a necessity. I honestly think he sees CA & DLA as "pin money" for ALL families rather than the lifeline it is for the man in the street.

I can almost guarantee that if he had to swap places with most of us on the board the poor man would have a breakdown by the end of the first month.
