I?m not sure how to start but i would like some advice on gf/cf diet and autism.
I am at my wits end and at this point i would try anything to help my son, i have a 5 year old severely autistic son and as time goes by he just seems to be regressing and not progressing, he has gone through a phase several times of regression and progression but it?s been a year since he has made any progress and by now any speech he had picked up through progression is completely gone! So i thought of trying this diet with him i know there is lots of online info but mainly its usa sourced.
So all those parents who have tried this diet has it helped in anyway behaviour, sleep anything?
Where do you do your shopping?
My son is also vegetarian so any help would be appreciated.

GF / CF helped my DS - but because he is articulate he could tell me why.

First of all we cut out dairy - and he said 'I don't feel sick all the time anymore'

So then I cut out gluten - and he said 'I don't have a site tummy all the time anymore'

So obviously this helped his behaviour.

You can buy GF everything at all the major supermarkets. Pasta, bread, cake, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, burgers etc etc.

It really hasn't been that hard at all.

Holland and Barrett, and independent health shops sell gf stuff. if you have a independent health store near you, they may be able to order stuff in for you as well.
If you are near Kingston... "Food for thought" do really nice cookies at half price! Lol!
In some cases your local chemist may be able to order it in as well.
