DD is going in for this tomorrow. She has various medical complications so her consultants registrar will be there keeping an eye(she has frequent blood tests and hospitalisation due to her condition and has also had some reflex anoxic seizures due to them and canulas being put in)

Am I right in thinking they will inject her hourly and take blood after each injection? How many times anyone know?

Dreading it, she has learning difficulties too and I also have 9 week old newborn who (obviously)doesnt sleep much-having to be up at 6 to get us all there.

I don't know about repeated blood test I thought it was one blood test, a pelvic ultrasound and an xray of hand and wrist.

Thanks, we have the other tests as monitering for her condition so maybe thats why they didnt do that as it is partly because of advanced bone age they did this test. It turned out to be iv hormones followed by hlf hourly bloods for a couple of hours. She coped very well though.
