Pead appointment through :)

Got our paediatrician appointment through for 12th September, just wondering what to expect from that compared to ed psych meeting, what doc's should I take with us? Will it be one of many before DX is made?

In our pead appointment they asked general questions on milestones, ie walking, talking, toilet trained etc and anything you noticed or was concerned about from birth upwards. Did a health check, heart, weight, felt tummy and height, ears etc. DS was drawing and fiddling with few bits and the pead was observing him whilst talking to us.

Depends on his age and concerns I would say wether it would be a appt of many. I know that some that are really young they prefer to have a wait and see approach for a few months.

DS was referred to OT straight away and SALT but they can recommend and request a referral to camhs for you too x

I would also make a list of anything you would like to raise and any problems you might have!! I always do this otherwise my brain goes to mush and forget all questions I wanted to ask!! Lol.
