Can I have a rant in here, please?

Where it's safe, and I (hopefully) won't get flamed?

Local commercial radio station this morning, going on about how sad they are that the Games are over. Fair enough, I am too, til one of them says "We need something else to keep the feel good factor going now."

ERM, HELLO??? We've got the Paralympics too, you know! I've resisted having a rant on their Facebook page.

Ditto the BBC, next to no coverage in the run up (I know they've not got the TV rights but they're supposed to be unbiased).

It sort of feels like the world's disabled athletes are being forgotten and it's making me sad and angry at the same time.

Just wish there was as much coverage for these athletes, they deserve it.

PS: There's a gentleman who I see regularly at my gym, in his wheelchair, working out. Saw on the gym's Facebook page not too long ago, he's a Paralympian.

Anyone else agree? Or am I the crazy lady shouting at the telly and radio? Thought that if I posted on AIBU, I'd get flamed beyond recognition, but if you all agree, maybe I'll see what MN in general has to say :)

Rant away - it is my life's mission and I agree with you entirely.
