Had a lovely two weeks away.Ds and dd have been absolute joys tbh easygoing and fun I don't think there has been a cross word in a fortnight.

What has been so touching is seeing the bond between them which is more obvious when the older three aren't about to hover over them.

Dd will always place herself between ds and any dogs because ds is really scared of them whilst reassuring him "It's alright my boy it's only a Yorkshire Terrier" (vast knowledge of dog breeds which brought a smile to the bloke with a Saluki Grin )

Then by the sea ds will ensure dd doesn't go too far or in too deep and they both make each other smile with their "conversations" and never tire of listening to the same stuff over and over again.

Ds has been Mr Mellow, we've eaten out every day without a problem, he's been in shops and arcades the cinema and parks and even through town as well as the beach.

Dd's been her delightful self although I'm sure she has seemed more eccentric than usual this holiday

Came home the house is a tip, we still have no cooker (being fitted Monday) still have some electrics to be finished in the kitchen and the bathroom is pretty much a shell (new suite goes in on Monday ) .The dining room is housing everything out of the kitchen so is unusable. And the dust is unbelievable but the washer is now plumbed in so I can make a start on the mountain of clothes that the boys haven't been able to do whilst I was away (I did all ours at the cottage thank goodness).

Oh and guess what was waiting for me? Dd's amended statement, wonderful (not).
