he is seeing the community paed in 2 weeks but i know they are really going to struggle to get him to co operate... just wondering what will happen if they can't get an assessment out of him?

SALT have struggled but over alot of sessions we did manage to get the most useful stuff done but it was hard work and ended up being done at home (he cant cope with clinic) using toys and books and the proper assessment stuff.

My ds2 (probably) has Pathological Demand Avoidance, suggested to us by the paed as he always throws her bricks on the floor and refuses to interact with her. We have an appt in Sep with CAMHS for a pre-assessment meeting (which I have fought for as there is no PDA service here) and I am really hoping they will get to see Mr Hyde or I will look like a pushy Proxy Munchausens mad woman.Grin
