What should I do with all of DS's left over pull ups?

DS has been getting pull ups on prescription from the incontinence service.

We seem to have finally cracked toilet training HOORAH! Grin

So today I have cleared out all the pull ups, and don't want to just bin them or sell them on as I am aware they cost the NHS to provide.

I'm not sure but I suspect they won't accept them being returned in case of tampering. I might be wrong though and will call them to check on Monday morning, but thought I'd ask on here over the weekend.

I was thinking if they won't have them back could give them to a local charity???

Hi, I gave my daughters to the local charity shop....I didn't check to see if it was ok to do this but the charity shop gladly accepted them!! Best phone first just in case.

I have loads, I think that's why I'm being more cautious. Charity shop is good idea, or maybe a children's hospice?

I will definitely make a call and check on Monday though as to if they want them returning or not.

I put mine on fb for all my lovely SN mums, as here you still only get 3 a day. They were spilt between two lovely families.

mymatemax · 04/08/2012 20:06

i phoned to get mine collected but after they failed to collect them i passed them on to another family

Sorry....forgot to say!! Huge congratulations with the success of toilet training!! Woohooo

Our area have recently changed to deliveries every four months, so I have about 7 boxes full! So 28 packs. Will free up a lot of space not having pull ups stored everywhere! I don't need to cancel next delivery as here you have to call up and "activate" the next delivery, so just won't bother.

I did post on our autism group's FB wall, but had no takers. I wonder if there are any other local groups - will have a look.

Am soo proud of him succeeding ith his pooing in the loo, he's 8 in October so it's been going on soo long, and I really thought I'd have another battle on my hands. Fortunately he seems to have finally been ready this time around. Proud mummy moment. Smile

First of all congratulations!!! I also have a pack left, but am leaving it in a corner of the wardrobe out of sheer superstition (DS achieving toilet training bordered on the miraculous - I don't want to jinx it!)
