Does anybody know who I can appeal to for funding (other than the family fund) for items such as a SN carseat, sign language classes, a crelling harness for walking?

Windmills is the company that supply the items, i cant remember the name of the charity that funds them but if you contact 'windmills' they will tell you www.windmillspecialneeds.co.uk/home/html/car_seats.html

Your social services dept OT should provide a crelling harness and carseat for free. You need the OT attached to the disabled children's team not the OT at the hospital.

Cerebra might fund sign language.

Thank you. Will check out windmills. Smile

Having a hard time getting our local social services team to acknowledge we exist. Hmm not sure what we're doing wrong there. Also still have no OT, despite numerous referrals by all currently involved professionals, that could be a thread in itself dd has sensory processing issues that we need a OT to assess, Amongst a big list of other things, including refusal to walk outside.
