To be fuming over the lea descion to not fund 1-1

Ds has austism, he struggles in school and he has the TA alot to keep him focused and on task.

I am going to appeal the descion, I feel so let down by the descion as its going to be another thing in the way.

Who has said they wont fund the 1 to 1 help?

One way to find out is to phone your LEA yourself and check if your son is statemented :)

He could be on School Action Plus atm seeing as an Educational Psychologist has been called in to assess.

Were you given a copy of the report from the EP? If so what needs did he/she list down for your DS.

IPSEA is a good website to search through and give advice. There is a template letter there that you can send to apply for Statutory Assessment yourself if he doesnt have a statement.
