My ds 4.5 (ASD) has been referred to the the above team within our county council, whereby they provide a specified number of hours for the user to have for activities, breaks, support etc.
I received a letter today stating that the list was closed and he would be added to the list, when I rang them they said that ds was around 50th on the list! The budget is only so big... They couldn't give me any indication when he might get some help!
I thought they had an obligation to help all disabled children or am I being niave. Is it the same nationwide?
