So sorry you have been hit with a double whammy. Sad I suppose at least you know the system, which will help your DD get off to a good start. I guess she's very different to your DS, though, but while you may need different strategies, the education system will be similar. Smile

Sorry to hear that, DD 2 has autism and I'm scared that dd3 has it too .

(( big hugs. ))

i have 2 with autism too, and they are so different its maddness

Mine are really different, too. One highly verbal, and v bright, with co-morbid ADHD and buckets of anxiety. One non-verbal and supposedly less high functioning, but such a happy chappy - by far the easier boy.

Hi autumnsmum I am sorry to read you have a second child diagnosed. I hope her statement goes smoothly for you and yes although not much comfort at all at least you know the expected hurdles this time which hopefully will give you a head start getting everything in place for your DD x

Thanks everyone ouryve your two boys sound just likemys

On and daughter sorry about awful typing on I pad it's also true that the diagnostic process has been straightforward which I know isn't the case for everyone

Advice from me would be to look into ABA. It has helped a number of posters including myself on this board.
