DS has a new obsession...................my armpits!!!

I kid you not - he has spent the last two days pushing my arms up to peer at my pits!!! There is nothing special about them as far as I know, free from hair, not whiffy but ds 4 ASD is facinated.

Perhaps he is just not used to seeing me in sleeveless clothes!

LOL that reminds me of a child in my class at school (he has ASD) . One of the staff prefers to be 'natural'.. ie massively hairy armpits, and one week when we were all in vest tops, he spent the whole week going from one armpit to the next..lifting our arms to check..then back to hairy person. He was obviously wondering why the hell she was different!

(to be fair we also wondered a bit too...!)

Hahaha! I could so see DS2 doing that.

At least he's stopped spending half of his day grabbing hold of my chin! He's realised he has a perfectly good one of his own. Chins are so special to him that they even induce speech eg "I got a djin!" and "I like your chin!" Yes, he might be non verbal 99.99% of the time, but when it's let out by a highly meaningful stimulus, it comes out in grammatically correct sentences!

And yes, he goes around comparing chins and is fascinated by the variation in hairiness. MIL has started shaving before she visits!

oh dear "natural"

hmm. ds was quite facinated by looking in my mouth. I put it down to a 3 year old thing. i hope but getting your mouth pulled open and having small pointy fingers poking around in there is not pleasant.

its feet for ds, my heels are quite dry and cracked and ds has been inspecting them minutely from about an inch away

My dd has started doing it this week too!!!! Keeps flinging my arms up to have a look. Nothing odd there either, hair free and not whiffy either.
I put it down to her not being used to seeing me in a vest.

My DS likes my feet, thought it was just his TA's feet til he offered to massage mine the other day. It was quite nice actually, not gonna say no cos dp hates feet so never had a foot rub!
