Ds2 (3yrs) was recently prescribed melatonin to help him with his sleep problems. The Paed has asked us to keep a sleep diary and to send it to him so that he can see if/how the melatonin is working. I was typing my notes up for this and am now wondering whether or not I've put in enough detail.
So far I have:
- Time ds2 gets up in the morning
- Very general description of what he has been doing in the daytime, eg "Pre-school in the morning. XYZ in the afternoon" but no more detail than that.
- If ds2 has one of his rare naps I note the times down
- What time he has his melatonin (and how much)
- Times that he wakes up during the night.
Is this too basic? Any tips?
TIA :)
