Poor ds

There was a 'good behaviour, reward' trip at school today. We had already known that ds would not be included when letters went out so broached the subject with school several weeks ago. We were told that 'loads of children' weren't going and after discussion decided that it would probably be best if ds didn't go (could tell school didn't really want him to)Sad. Turns out he was the only child in the year left at school today so clearly feels that he is the worst one there - great for his already low self-esteem. Even a child that caused him to be excluded (and we were told wasn't going) has gone as well as a boy who offered other kid's money to beat ds up! Clearly they reward poor behaviour except when it's SN related. Ds has been in floods.

That is dreadful, am really sorry your DS has been singled out and left behind, how can they justify doing that?!

Huge hugs to you and your lovely DS :(
