DD is Year 6 and (after me physically standing in reception and insisting school give me them) I have SATS scores and her report . . BTW, she breaks up today!

They've been telling me she's been working at, and can possibly get, level 4 - which i've not believed, based on me knowing her and what work she produces. We refused the helper they were going to give her as we wanted a true score.

Anyway, she has got all Level 3's with lots of hard work and her doing it by herself, but there is no test result for writing - why didn't she do writing?

On her report, it's filled with 'DD tries 100%' or 'DD can almost do' or 'DD is working towards' and there is no mention of her being able to do much, other than what I know.

There is a section where I can respond but I want to make it tactful, yet want to express my disappointment in their lack of support and acknowledgement of DD's educational struggles and them saying she's working at age appropriate levels.

It was with great disapointment that I finally reviewed my child's results today. I can see why the school was so hesitant to release them, given that our parental concerns had been so consistently dismissed, over such a long period of time.

I hope that lessons will be learned and staff given the appropriate training to ensure that any other children entering the school with a similar profile of difficulties will not continue to be failed in such a way. It is very unfair to expect secondary schools to have to "pick up the pieces" as they will now be forced to do with my daughter.
