Lack of support from services

You'll have to excuse me as I'm pregnant with number 2 and extremely hormonal!
I'm just getting really cheesed of with our CDC and health visitors failing to offer us any support what so ever! Ds is now 3yrs old and we've just started claiming DLA , however we have been entitled to this for years and no one thought to suggest it to us. We are also about to have a pushchair assessment but we already have one and could have done with this earlier to!
This pregnancy is also reminding me how unsupported I was after the Difficult and traumatic birth and with all the problems we've had since and I'm just feeling a bit let down. There are loads of other ways they have failed us that I won't go into but I'm beginning to lose trust in the whole service and their lack of continuity and communication x

And look at Contact a Family they have some good fact sheets on their website about stuff you may be entitled to e.g. you may be entitled to some direct payments from social care for a 'break' from caring - which might be buying in help at home and very useful when the new arrival comes along
