Just wondering if anyone could help me with what to expect as I am feeling anxious.
Ds was seen at CDC a year ago. At the time I had high expectations and expected some answers. It had been difficult to get the appointment and was disappointed when ds was discharged after his first appointment. I have started statutory assessment and now CDC want to see ds again. What will be different?

This appointment will have been made because the LA must seek medical advice as part of the Statutory Assessment process. So they normally send you to see the Community Paed.

It'll be a very cursory examination.

Thanks. I did think that given that they know all ds history and had discharged him. I just worry how influential their advice is I the decision making.

It's just to rule out/in any medical issues.

It's just a hoop to jump through.

Nothing to worry about at all.
