I have 2 dd's, dd1 is 8.5 she is awaiting assesment for dyspraxia and dyslexia and has a few anger issues, I have been trying to get things moving a bit as recently things have become worse at home (quite a few of you were very supportive on my thread that went a bit pear shaped). She was reffered to the MAST team by school but initiated by me to do with her tantrums and self esteem issues and I have been told today that she has been assigned a key worker, I dont really know what this actually means but they are supposed to contactme shorty to let me know. What I am really hoping is that it means the support she has recieved this year becasue of an amazing teacher will continue.

Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself as I have a feeling I might be here from time to time and i was so grateful for the support I recieved the otehr week.

Hello Dita. I wasn't on your other thread, but just had a look at it. Wow, people got a bit nasty. We are much nicer here! Smile I've got 3 DSs, DS2 is 12 and has ASD.

Hello, am sure you will find loads of support here, have found it a real lifeline :)

LargeLatte · 10/07/2012 17:38

Hi Dita - I've found lots of support here. I have a 5yo boy with dyspraxia and it definitely causes him anger issues.

I have a 7yo boy and he has heaps of anger issues too. So hopefully I can provide you with some company too.
