Reflex anoxic seizures

After DD had three of her funny turns in one weekend during which she had a bug and was in hospital (meaning that a doctor saw the second one and a nurse the third) the neurologist has just called to say he thinks it is reflex anoxic seizure, in response to pain or stress or injury.

This is good news as we had been considering medication after her eeg indicated benign rolandic epilepsy.

There is a good website stars.org.uk but I wondered if anyone else on here has experience of it?

DD also has a genetic condition that makes her body not deal with illness or injury and severe SLI/some learning difficulties. Was told yesterday we may never know the cause of the learning disability so to actually get a definate answer for something was good.
