Small boy (3.11) has recently taken to taking his trousers down in public (shops/school playground etc)... is this just small boyishness or is it one more thing to tell the clinic about re a query for asd? (no-one else I know has a child who does this.)

I am hideously embarressed

I am also lacking in info on asd and similarly presenting conditions... can someone point me in the right direction please.

My 9.5 year old has a similar habit of pulling his jeans down every so often and dancing to the wiggle wiggle song. It's very embarrassing but I just have to keep reminding him its not appropriate and hope it sinks in.

Ps my ds is being looked at for asd &/or adhd

Sorry I've not been useful but you're definitely not alone.

NAS website is a good place to start. But, TBH, you'll get lots of information from this board if you hang around. Smile
