Help, every year we face the dreaded sports day. This year it's causing DS to have stress headaches and it's still 2 weeks off.

I'm going to see the Learning Support department, he gets 20 hours a week. What can I ask for or suggest that will help?

He dislikes sport, sitting outside for hours ESP if it's sunny or wet. He isnt a team person, he hates wasting time!

There was a long thread on this very subject a week or so ago! The consensus was sports days are the work of the devil for DC with ASD and a diplomatic sickie would be entirely justified. Grin

I agree with ellen, if you can trust him to keep quiet I would tell him he wont be going and that will relieve his stress straight away.

If you think he will go around telling everyone [like Dd3 would] then you may need to" have" an appointment or somethingGrin
