Grace and Ellie have a party today, girl from School

Am so pleased Ellie got an invite , but am dreading it!!!

They are hiring a hall and a lady is coming with a load of space hoppers!!! Which Ellie won't be able to do, but will want to!! Means me holding her on one then bending over helping her to bounce!

My back is sore from lifting her so much already!

Then they are having games, but she said not competitive ones!

I can see it now, hoppers lined up, ready...steady....go... all the kids bouncing along and Ellie legging it the opposite way with hers in her hands

will let you know how it goes!!

DH left the kitchen door open and Ellie went in and got the wrapped presents and opened them

I told her off but DH thought it was hilarious and laughed so much

Could have thumped him

I think partys are designed to give parents nightmares. I went to one once (16yr old with cp wheelchair bound) her mum did musical chairs. The sn mums laughed as our kids would have one but thats when I went home.
I do hope it went ok and no tears

Glad it went OK...

and next time you should thump your dh, he'll shut up and you feel better
