hes been constantly at sick for about 2 months now at school. got really bad last week and he was sick 6 times in a day - kept him off thurs and fri after seeing gp - was going to send him back in today but last night he must have been sick 20 plus times so back to the GP today who has now signed him off with anxiety - its such a mess - emergency review 2 weeks ago concluded that school could no longer meet his needs and a special school needed - lea just walked out of the meeting and basically left him to rot to they decide what to do next. his paperwork went missing for 2 weeks so we are still waiting someone to make a decision whilst his condition detoriates. heres hoping for a peaceful time at home with him

Really hope your DS can recover and relax now he is home.

Hoping too the LEA pull their finger out and get your DS the school he needs.

Just use this time to rest and get your DS better x

I'm so sorry your DS is going through this bjkmummy:( Must be awful for you to ave to see this.

Heres hoping the LEA can see just how this is affecting him.

Good luck and hope your DS feels better soon x

You'll be entitled to home tutition funded by the LA. Normally 5 hours per week. Contact the SEN Case Officer (in writing) and ask for it to be arranged as it can take some weeks to put in place.

Awww bless him. I hope he calms and gets back on top of things at home. x

Do you feel the school are correct in that they cant help him further? Was his statement adequate for his needs or could there have been more help in it.

Have you looked at special schools within your area? It might not hurt having a few visits yourself to get the feel of places. Or indeed the same goes for another MS school if you feel with a better statement he would be happy in one :)

Poor ds Sad - but at least he's out of there now and can take some time to recover at home while you find him a place somewhere else.
