DD currently attends a weekly residential school for the last 3 years which is supposedly 'outstanding' and the top school in it's field so they think. Sad thing was that i fought the LEA and spent ££££ and what i wanted for my DD from the school didn't happened and now my DD and my family have lost trust, faith etc in that school. (CLAW4 we also got that certain t-shirt thanks to this school and that incident believe it or not wasn't the straw that broke our backs)

So in September she will be going to the day special school that i had fought hard against. I had heard nasty stories about this day school which is what put me off it.

Another parent pulled their child out of the residential school nearly a year ago as he really hated it there and he now attends the day school that my daughter will be going to in September and she's really happy and he has improved so much :D. Heard that a few more children have left/leaving as well.

It's amazing the burden that has been lifted now that she's leaving is amazing. The happiness that we including her siblings are feeling knowing that in September she be coming home every night.

My daughter has been wanting to leave for quite a while and now that she knows that she's leaving she's so happy!!! Because she knows that she's leaving she's starting to stand up for herself.

She makes me laugh as she trying to figure out different ways to destroy the uniform.

Good luck.

Hope the new school turns out to be vastly better.

Schools change so rapidly that even if ofsted reports were reliable, they'd be no use at all.
