Bedtime Cds/Music Ideas - DS1 ASD

We are planning to get DS1 (almost 5, ASD) back into sleeping in his own room. Have bought a few new bedtime books but thinking of trying relaxing cd or audio tape? Any ideas please?! I have bought a couple but they all start with 'imagine you are...' type stuff and gentle meditation exercises. Not sure if this will confuse or relax him! I have been looking for something that just plays seashore music or similar but haven't found anything that is just music as opposed to singing. Thanks!

Is this the sort of thing you had in mind?

These type of Cds are available in all sorts of places (gift shops, garden centres etc). They usually come on a stand where you can press the buttons and listen to them before you buy.

There are lots of relaxation tapes that are just natural sounds. When I was pg i asked dh to get me one and he came back with one that is a thunderstorm in the rainforest ( better than it sounds) and it sent me to sleep whenever I played it!!

My son would only settle to: 'Panpipes of Scotland' sounds for a few years when he was younger. We had to keep it on repeat all through the night!
