DS had a routine paed appointment today (he has multiple medical needs). His appointment was at 11.00 and we were back at the hospital entrance at 11:40!!! This is unheard of!! (and we had a good length of time with the dr, not just in and out).

I had cancelled ds's school lunch and planned on a hospital cafe lunch, but it was before they officially started serving lunches. I only wanted a baked potato and the nice assistant went and got one from the kitchens for him . So even got DS back to school for the afternoon!

(DS - fine, see him again in 6 months)

that's pretty impressive!! Our hospital will now refund your car parking charges if your appointment is over an hour late, seems to have got things moving

Ah starfish, make sure you write to the chief exec. That's an amazing service (no wait, enough time with doc, kind catering lady...)
