Other thread about the disasterous day out reminded me.

Last week we went to the bath & west show. We've been before but DD has always been overcome by the animal smells. She gets all overwhelmed and DD-ish snd its not worth even trying to look.

This time we mooched for ages looking at the pigs, goats, cows and horses

AND SHE DIDN'T MENTION THE SMELL AT ALL!!!!!!!

Hurrah!

I suspect its down to the time shes been spending at the bloody brilliant local racehorse rescue place (they fo courses for children with special needs and i love them.)

Anyway. Thought i'd share.

Awww. That's lovely :o

(Though I think my kids are naturally desensitised to animally smells. They spray all sorts on the fields, round here!)

That's a huge improvement DH

DS almost vomits at a farm but can cope with the riding stables (he does RDA there). Hopefully riding will help him to be able to deal with farm smells too :)
