dla renewal query

have sent my sons renewal off about 2 months ago and havent heard back but have got a letter today from carers allownace saying its due to end 26/06/12 and we will be sent a formal letter after this date when theyve made their decision. Does this mean his dla is being stopped or going to low rate? or is it a standard letter they send out? x

yeah have done now. theyre awaiting DS's pre school to provide them with info & said it was the standar letter from CA department as the carers part runs out on that date. At least I know but still more waiting.

I sent dd renewal off about 7 wks ago and still not heard either. Anxious waiting times!

I know ds's first one only took 2 weeks but this time round it's been 2 months so far. I'm too impatient to wait

Have you at least had their letter to say they've received it chundle? If not worth giving Them a call
