Just taking stock as I update our organised Mum calender (none of this would be possible without visual schedules btw). DS's leisure activities booked for after half term.

He's attending ordinary non SEN swimming lessons (only level 2 but hey)
After school Art club
Akido - again a mainstream class.

Play dates are working out at roughly once a fortnight - he seems to have a couple of real friends!!!!! I've been asked to give my phone no to a couple of people.

Just a year ago all this would have totally impossible. I've had to say no to scouts this morning till the Autumn as his reading is so far behind and needs time devoting to it. This time last year if we hadn't had to walk the dog he wouldn't have chosen to leave the house, as he was an anxiety ridden wreck.

I'm one of the worst for winging. Thought I'd better show any newbies that all the tears and hard work IS so totally worth it. This is the result of busting my gut on all fronts, at home & school and I'm so, so pleased by his progress.

I've got a baby going spare!

DH and I are quite adament that it was neither of our ideas to have a 3rd, so the plan is to wait until it is born and choose our favourite two and give the other away.

What do you say?

moondog · 06/06/2012 13:27

Yes indeed. Where is that baby Star? Grin

StarlightMaJesty · 06/06/2012 13:29

Dunno. Ultrasound due date was yesterday!

My dates say Sat.

My sanity says not ever!

Badvoc · 06/06/2012 18:30

Sat it is then! Smile
