We went to the paed today. He gave DS (8) a dx of Tourette's Syndrome.
He is very tic-y - lots of little motor ticks and snorting, but I had thought he had ADHD too. The school's answers on the Connors scale put him on the border of normal, and the paed said hewould consider DS's AD and H symptoms as part of the Torette's.
I guess he may be right (or maybe just trying to keep the dx down). Any one with experience of this - the non-tic side of Tourette's? Any advice or handholding appreciated.
