LA doing SA really quickly

Had a letter from LA saying my SA request will go to 'panel' in week 4 (not the usual 6) and i will recieve a decision shortly after and given me a date.

Obviously this is a good thing, but anyone have any idea why?

End of term looming.

Thats true, they usually use this to delay things though, not hurry things along!

They also havent added on next weeks school holiday and it will be going to panel on the Monday they are back to school, 3 weeks after my request!

I have decided it must be a good sign, as whether they refuse or not, at least i will know sooner, rather than later.

Hi Claw

This is the way my request has gone. I requested it on the 29th Feb. it went to panel on 27th March. They agreed to assess and it goes to panel today to decide on wether to issue a statement, so only 13 weeks since requested.

School have commented on how fast it's going through and have said that it has actually over taken some others! It was made clear to them that there report had to be in for the deadline, no excuses, as it was going straight to the next panel after. I do t know if it's a good sign or not but hopefully it'll mean we might get things sorted for September.
