Battle of wills here what's going to give way first? Ds hasn't had food today because he isn't speaking to me although he is answering if I speak to him because he is on a warning. If he's unhappy he doesn't speak to me as he sees me to blame for whatever reason (even if it's something I have no control over like the weather, the traffic or the internet being slow) and I have to get to the bottom of every difficulty by hearing bits and pieces from dh or his siblings. That in itself makes things worse because they put their own spin on things and don't always remember or consider things significant when I would if only he spoke to me. I refuse to ask him if he wants food because I am sick and tired of it tbh. The others are ignoring the sad eyes and his not so subtle hints to get them to ask me so I wonder what will win the hunger or the stubbornness?

Well hunger won here Grin aided by the prod from dh who told him clearly if he didn't ask himself then he wouldn't be fed today or tomorrow or the next day because I wasn't going to ask him any more WinkI think the prospect of starvation overcame the stubbornness Grin
