What to expect of private EP?

We have hired a private EP to go into DS's school next week. He has ASD and the provision is clearly not working so we want to see what sort of placement may be better suited to him.
What sort of questions are important to ask the EP in our meeting with her?

How old is DS?.

Is this a state or private school?.

What provision is in place currently?.

Ds is 6 at MS primary with 22 hours of SNA per week

What is SNA?. That's not an acronym I have seen before hence me asking.

I guess he does not have a statement of special needs. If you are in the UK I would certainly sound this person out about a statement.

We have a statement where he gets 22 hours of time with his Special Needs Assistant

Just beware that some LA's do not take much notice of independent private EP's, but I guess you know you'll be in for a fight to get the best possible provision for your DS.
