Hi girls,
I have a dd (8) who has dyspraxia, spd and residual language difficulties. I have
a ds who is nearly five with specific language impairment, spd and fine motor problems. My kids are getting on grand at the moment receiving slt and ot mostly private. Their behaviour has really improved and I recently did a parenting course
. Anyway my question is about my neighbours child who has ADD. He is constantly hitting and tormenting my kids when they are playing outside. I have had a chat with him about playing like a friend and that hands are not for hitting but today he cut my older dd with a sword. I know I have to teach my kids how to deal with him. The easiest solution is just to bring them inside. My dh brought him home today because he just wouldnt stop hitting after a warning. His parents are not monitoring him and basically ignore what he is doing. His is also hitting his sister. I suppose I'm just pissed off that he is allowed to behave this way and I don't want my ds thinking it is ok . Does anyone have advice or suggestions. Having a chat with his parents wouldn't make any difference.

Nothing you can do except keep your children away from him.
