How is DLA affected with 12 week hospital stay

Hi, does anyone know how DLA is affected with long stay in hospital. DS may have to got to Prudhoe Hospital in Northumbria, for kids with severe learning disabilities. DS gets HRC & HRM (we have mobility car). He is expected to be inpatient for 6-12 weeks, getting home on alternative weekends. Thanks

Do nothing as he is getting a break so still needing the car iyswim

I have a feeling the cut off is 12 weeks when dla stops being paid.

Aww thanks devient & TheNinjaGoose..... saves a lot of worry. Just thinking perhaps thats why hospital saying 12 weeks!! Great now can stop worrying about that part of things lol.
