This worked very well for me. I attended a consultation meeting on proposed changes to my local hospitals children's services but was unable to get my concerns addressed because of the way things went and certain groups hijacking the meeting. I was quite vocal about my thoughts on this on facebook. My post eventually made its way to the trust director managing the consultation and I was given the opportunity to have a private meeting about it. I ended up meeting with the director, trust chief executive, and various other managers to put my points across, and received an invite to join the committee responsible for overseeing the changes to make sure my concerns did not materialise.
