Are you entitled to receive the minutes from a governors meet?

2 days short of 2 weeks and I still havent received a copy of the minutes of my meeting with them.

They took 7 days to give me the decision letter and I still havent received the minutes.

Can I insist on having them or can they refuse.

Can you apply for them under freedom of information act?

I dont actually know tbh tuna.

was about to email HT with the fact that the promised cupboard has been non-materialistic (obviously said for ASD Teams/EPs benefit. He is still only getting to go out to play twice and still no sensory diet or short breaks. The bastards have even chucked in giving him another lesson in another class of 30 so have changed his routine and when he cant cope with 20? They moan that he locked himself in the loos again. And was going to point out that I still havent received the minutes.

Considering phoning this MG solicitor but wanted facts from it. But then at the same time what the hell can a solicitor do in such a short time left of schooling....

Got to laugh at his style though lol ran in one door and locked it and quick as a flash crawled under the internal walls to each cubicle and locked them too :)

It would be funny if it wasnt so serious that they have failed him for the last 3 years

8 weeks and two days left and definately counting.........

Oh good grief!

Why you aren't rocking in a corner with a bottle if vodka I have no idea!

StarlightMcKenzie · 16/05/2012 22:26

Seriously. The boy's being harmed there. Take him out for a few days here and there. Say it is school refusal due to anxiety, and enjoy the sunshine/museums/seaside.......

coff I requested written minutes of my complaint meeting. It took a while for them to issue these - not worth the wait as they were not accurate and missed out important chunks such as HT shouting 'I made a mistake, I made a mistake'. Don't hold your breath that these will be useful when you get them but you can get them changed if you disagree. Mine were issued the week before ds left there and I knew they would not change them Angry. Was someone sitting there taking the minutes?

Desperatelyseekingsupport · 16/05/2012 22:34

My guess is that as your ds leaves soon they will just keep stalling. a*holes!

Yes the lady in reception was taking them and she is lovely bless her. Was very red faced most of the time on my behalf as she loves ds. I might just whisper in her ear and see if she will photocopy it as she would have typed it up and was there when they said I would have a copy. But I think you are right desparately I doubt there will be much of what I said in it. One of the govs had the cheek to smile and say hello today and he is a well known "pillar" of the community which from me he got a deserved look like he was poo on my shoe.

Star I seriously have NO alchohol in the house. However I am now smoking myself to death with copious amounts of coffee which is giving me just the same migraine as would a hangover. The happy pills are doing my head in because I am upset but I cant bloody well cry, think or shout. But I do know I am in a BAD mood.

Its good to take them though because they are keeping my hands by my sides as have a serious urge to slap someone.

The sad thing is that DS said to me tonite to wake him up the same time as his sister as he doesnt want to be late for school but in the same breath said he feels poorly :( HE really is trying and that is what is winding me up.
