I have to see the GP tomorrow at 11:30 for a pg test in order to be referred to a hospital (yeah I know).

Tribunal SALT is seeing DS in school and I have JUST had a request to meet her at 12:30.

So I call surgery to rearrange. They can't fit me in anytime until next week when I will be 37.

I explained I needed to be referred so the 'suggest I keep the appointment then'.

I mentioned I had been summoned to ds' school for a SN issue and was told to 'send my dh'. I said he was away and was told to send a neighbour.

I just said I don't know my neighbours but the school need to see me and they changed the time to 9:00, which I said I can't do as I have to TAKE DS to school. They said then my DH would have to just come back and take him then.

Wtf?

Finally got to speak to actual doctor who was lovely and who will see my at 5!

Yeah. Actually he got a bit better towards the end and gave me some drugs I wanted without me even having to sell it to him and laughed when dd wanted a sticker for going to the doctors and I explained that it was MY appointment and therefore I get the plastic bottle to wee in.

It will be fine, baby will be fine and will come out sticking two fingers up at the world with his/her mums determined attitude Grin

Did you fight with your dd over the sticker too? Or did you feel truimphant that you had the bottle after all.
