Ds1 is 13yr has ODD and CD, up to now had a brill morning with him, then he was asked to take his siblings down to the park for an hour cause they were all complaining they were bored, dd1 even offered to clean his room for him if he took her, which i dont really think was to much to ask. ( or was it) which then resulted in him swearing and kicking off, punching things, so he was then told either go to the park or clean his room, he carried on with the horrible foul language to the point where i have now taken his phone off him untill his room is done , all iv had for the last hour is I hate you, constant swearing and that he doesnt want to be part of this family. What am i doing wrong, Is it to much to ask for him to simply help out.

You are not wrong in telling him to do things as he is going to have to do things all through life at peoples requests x

And by sticking to your guns in a consequence for shouting and swearing isnt going to do him any harm either. Hope he has calmed down now x
