So I need to find a private SALT - where do I look?

I need to find DS a SALT - our LA wont provide services to over 6 year olds, and DS is 6 in 6 months.

He has a receptive language level of 2.4 and expressive of 2.6. I know he needs it whatever wishy washy answer I get from our current SALT about how well he is doing.

Is there a central register like there was when we found the OT?

You could ask the school who they use. Ours uses a private one who is happy to do ad hoc stuff for parents. Good luck
