Ds has form for trying to avoid homework but this takes the biscuit! He waits until bedtime to tell me that he should have done some homework for tomorrow morning but is 'totally not doing it' . Apparently he has to take an egg in along with a case or contraption that he has made to enable the egg to be dropped from a height without breaking 
. You are not allowed to use tape or glue or hard boil the egg 
. He says he told the teacher that this would be a health and safety risk due to possible salmonella poisoning and he does not want to risk contaminating himself or his peers but she said she still expects him to do it and he can use an egg with the red lion stamped on it! Oh dear, hope it doesn't kick off when he tells her he hasn't done it and gives her a health and safety lecture.
