Not including days when they have phoned me to say she's unwell and I've gone to get her.

First GP totally disinterested, today's has decided that her level of tiredness isn't right, so has asked for blood tests.

Please may they show something. I want my DD1 back.

Your DDs red blood cell count says high? also the Hematrocrit says high.

I dont think its dangerously high though but when dd had RBC issues it was because her body wasnt producing enough oxygen (sp lol). Basically her blood was thicker. She was suffering tiredness.

Turned out she did have an infection in her kidneys that ordinary anti bs didnt clear up and so it remained undetected till she had a random blood test for thyroid due to tiredness :)

I would go through it with the hospital personally.

Lougle, i posted on the other thread you started in childrens health, as my dd1 has just been referred to the paeds, after a year of being up and down healthwise. She had a set of bloods done last year, including Coeliacs (which came back negative - despite her gp thinking that could be the cause), I have the results somehwere.I am trying to prepare (curse mumsnet for distracting me!) for ds's TAC meeting tomorrow, but could dig the results out tomorrow to compare, if you would be interested.

oh yes please!

Coff, DD1 is chronically tired, which is so removed from her normal self. They are having to feed her lunch.

Her RBC & Haematocrit are high; lymphocytes are low.
