Dodson & Horrell, in conjunction with the Riding for the Disabled Association, is proud to host a free event for all the family to mark its involvement with Equestrian Team GBR, which will compete in this summer?s Paralympic and Olympic Games.
Children with disabilities and additional needs are invited to come along and have a go at horse riding with support and tuition from trained RDA instructors.
Siblings are also welcome to come along and have a go too; all of the family is welcome.
Plus, we are proud to welcome Paralympic Champion Lee Pearson who will be giving a dressage display ahead of competing at this summer?s Paralympic Games.
And Sophie Wells, who has represented Great Britain in para-dressage on numerous occasions, and the British Vaulting Team, will also be showing off their considerable skills.
The event starts at 9.45am with the afternoon demonstrations beginning at 1.30pm.Booking is essential if you have children who would like to ride a horse. You don?t need to book if you
would like to come along to the afternoon demonstrations but it is advised

oh, wish this was closer to me - sounds fab. dd1 goes riding with school, and enjoys it a lot, and dd2 was just saying in the week she wished she could too... and sounds like a great day out as well.

we have tickets for the Olympics for dressage, and dh will be going with dd2 (grrr - that's my ticket! but will have had dc3 the week before, by csection, so maybe not ) so would have been a great intro for her too.

oh well, hope everyone who does go has a great time.
