Quick question about the Blue Badge

We've recently got a Blue Badge for our 3 year old ds, but I'm not sure which way it should be displayed, as the leaflet we got with it isn't very clear! Is it the side with the photo on that should be face up or the other side?

its the other side up, not the photo, the side displayed will show issue number and expiry date, be sure to display that and the clock or you are likely to get ticketed this cost me £40!

don't do what i did, i tucked my badge into the corner of the window and got a ticket as they couldn't see one of the numbers.
